This 9days and 8nights vacation will make you experience, 1 night stay in Moshi and 8days and 7 nights safari and culture tour. The safari will take you to the home of elephants Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority, Serengeti National Park, lake Eyasi and lastly Lake Manyara National Park. The day to day explanation is as follows;

Day 01, Arrival day;

Guide will be available at the airport to greet and pick you all up from Kilimanjaro International airport (JRO), and drive to the accommodation at Kilimanjaro. The drive will be of 1hr 10mins, covering a distance of 44kms. Arrive at Kilimanjaro region in (bed and breakfast) accommodation we check in, and rest/relax and spend the night after long flight. 

Day 02, Tarangire National Park;

Driver/Guide will arrive at the accommodation from early in the morning 6:00 a.m waiting for you to wake up, freshen up and have breakfast. After breakfast guide will aid in loading all our belongings on safari cruiser, ready for drive to Tarangire which will start at 7:30 a.m. When we arrive at Tarangire, driver/guide will check in at the park gate (Sangaiwe gate) and immediately begin our game drive and viewing around the park.  Tarangire National Park is known for its Elephant’s herds of up to 300, migratory Wildebeest, Zebra, Buffalo, Impala, Gazelle, Hartebeest and Eland grazing and browsing in the dry river bed. There is Silale swamp that attracts 550 varieties of birds, the most breeding species you’ll see in one habitat anywhere in the world. The park is also home of tree climbing pythons, as well as presence of lions. During the afternoon around 12:00 p.m driver/guide will find a soothing spot to serve you hot lunch, it will be at the Tarangire river (life line of the park) view point and picnic site. After lunch break we continue with game drive until late evening around 3:00 p.m, where we will be exiting the park or stay at the park and drive to accommodation (Full Board) and freshen up, have dinner and spend the night.

Day 03, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority and Crater Authority;

Wake up at the accommodation around 7:00 a.m, freshen up and have breakfast. After breakfast, driver/guide will help in loading up all our belongings on safari cruiser ready for drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at the conservation’s Loduare gate check in and immediately proceed with game drive and drive to Ngorongoro Crater, we descend down to the crater floor for a full day of tracking game with our guide. The crater is 610m deep and 260km² wide, making it the largest Caldera in the world. The crater contains all the big five animals (lions, elephants, rhinos, leopard and buffaloes), hippos, cheetah, antelopes and spotted hyena. Also in the crater you can see different species of birds. Other wild animals such as velvet monkey, jackal, foxes, rock and tree hyraxes, warthog, gnu, zebra and hare. We will be having our picnic lunch at the conservation around 12:00 p.m. After the lunch break, proceed with game drive until late afternoon at 4:00 pm. During the late evening we will be either exiting the park or stay in the park and drive to accommodation (Full Board), for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04, Serengeti National Park;

Wake up at the accommodation early in the morning around 6:00a.m, freshen up and have breakfast. After breakfast we then load all our belongings to the safari cruiser then proceed around 7:30 am en route drive to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority. Arrive at Serengeti national park gate at Naabi, where driver will check us in at the park gate and immediately proceed with game drive. Serengeti is undoubtedly the best known wild life sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural and scenic values it as the greatest of plains concentration of plains game in Africa, Also known worldwide for its endless plains, wildebeest –migration, pride of lions and other predators like hyenas, cheetahs and leopards. Crocodiles can be found in the Grumeti River, as well as hippos, giraffes, antelopes and gazelles. We continue with our game drive and the amazing sunset game drive until late evening (4:00p.m) where we will drive to our accommodation (full board) for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05: Serengeti National Park;

We wake up in the morning around 6:30 a.m, freshen up and have breakfast. After breakfast we grab our cameras and hot lunch already for full game drive at the park. Where guide will drive to the area near Mara River for game drive and when the time is right guide will take you to see the famous wildebeest crossing (Migration). During afternoon 12:00 p.m, driver will find soothing spot for hot picnic lunch while observing wild animals at close proximity. After lunch break we continue with game drive and viewing, where later on during the evening we will be having sunset game drive. Which will give us a chance to see more wild animals and it’s the best time to see predators in action because the temperature at the park has dropped less exhaustion. We continue with our game drive until late evening where we will drive to our accommodation (full board) for dinner and overnight.

Day 06: Serengeti National Park

We wake up in the morning around 6:30 a.m, freshen up and have breakfast. After breakfast we grab our cameras and hot lunch already for full game drive at the park. Where guide will drive to the area near Mara River for game drive and when the time is right guide will take you to see the famous wildebeest crossing (Migration). During afternoon 12:00 p.m, driver will find soothing spot for hot picnic lunch while observing wild animals at close proximity. After lunch break we continue with game drive and viewing, where later on during the evening we will be having sunset game drive. We continue with our game drive until late evening around 4:00 p.m, where we will drive to our accommodation (full board) for dinner and overnight.

Day 07, Lake Eyasi

Wake up early in the morning around 6:00a.m, freshen up and have breakfast. After breakfast we load up all our belongings to the safari cruiser go for half day game drive at the park. During the afternoon guide will find soothing spot for picnic lunch and a little break. After Lunch break we exit the park and drive to Lake Eyasi via Masai boma to experience the Culture and daily life of the Masai people. We arrive at Lake Eyasi during the evening and drive to accommodation (full board) for dinner and overnight stay.

Day08, Full day Cultural experience at Lake Eyasi;

Wake up at the lodge early in the morning, freshen up and have breakfast. After breakfast we will join the Hadzabe and interact with them and meet the bushman guide and enjoy the bush walking safari and hunting activity with the hadzabe bushmen, the hadzabe are the indigenious ethnic group in the north central Tanzania living around lake Eyasi in the central rift valley, the hadzabe are the only remaining hunters and fruit gathers in East Africa. During the afternoon at 12:00 p.m we will have lunch with the bushmen and a little rest. After lunch we will meet the Datoga tribe one of the few remaining African tribes that still smelt iron to make tools for their daily activities. We then exit the Eyasi area and drive to accommodation (full board) at Karatu for Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 09: Lake Manyara National park.

We wake up early in the mornig at the lodge around 6:00 a.m, freshen up and have breakfast. After breakfast we load up all our belongings to the safari cruiser all ready for drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Arrive at the park gate check in and immediately begin our game drive. The park is home to the tree climbing Lions, Hippo, Elephants, Zebras, Buffalos, Giraffes, large groups of Baboons, Blue and Velvet monkey, Warthog and more. About 350 species of birds have been recorded. The Manyara National park is also famous for its large flocks of flamingos. We will have lunch during the afternoon at the park and then proceed with game drive while exiting the park and drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport (K.I.A) for return flight back home.

Note: Day 09 is the last day of our tour program, the time taken for the activities (game viewing, picnic lunch and little break) will be done under the consideration of your flights schedule.

The cost for the safari includes;

• Park entry fees at Tarangire, Ngorongoro Conseravtion & Crater, Serengeti National Park, Lake Eyasi and Lake Manyara National Park.

The cost for the safari doesn’t include;

• Tipping for your driver/guide, as gratitude towards the best service he has provided. The recommended is approximately USD$30, per day so as to motivate the guide knowing that his art is noticed. The tip will motivate the guide and even making him add spice on the safari, making the safari experience memorable. The amount is divided between everyone (clients) in the safari cruiser.
• Drinks like alcoholic i.e beer or spirits.
